Hi my name is Raneem. I came to Canada because Syria had a war. I went to Syria when I was 2 years old. It was fun, we had good apartment and life was good.

When I was 6 years old, war started in Syria there where bombs everywhere, houses schools market everything got destroyed. There were no school that kids could go to. Kids are scared to go out some kids even lost their parents in war so they live on streets. Some of them die because they are hungry. We moved to Jordan, a country where there was no war. Now I moved back to Canada. I left my cousin in Syria, who then moved to Lebanon. I wish to see her again.

I still do things just the way we used to do in my country. Now I am in Canada and I really like it here. War is not good we should all stay in peace!

I am very thankful that I am living in a peaceful country like Canada.
