Bus Evacuation Drill – We had perfect weather for our annual bus evacuation drill.  The training consists of a speaker, a video and then a practice evacuation.  Many thanks to Mr. Climenhage’s grade six students for their leadership in assisting all of their peers to safely exit the back of the bus.

Library News – The Blue Spruce and Silver Maple Reading Programs will be beginning soon.  Our TRAILBLAZERS will join students from around the world reading both fiction and non-fiction books by Canadian authors.  Then, and this is the cool part, the students get to vote for their favourite and the vote determines the winner! We love a great read!

School Council – Council members will be meeting this evening at 6:30 p.m. in the library.  All parents are welcome to join us for the monthly admin update, discussions around engaging our community at the upcoming Fun Fair and reaching out to our parent community with our PRO grant. If you can’t make it tonight, not to worry as the minutes will be posted on our web site wtt.wrdsb.ca and blasted out through SchoolDay.
