To our W.T. Townshend Families,

Calling all people who want to give back this holiday season!  W. T. Townshend has joined a campaign again to help support our local shelters (Anselma House, Mary’s Place, Bridges, Haven House and St. Monica House).

Many families in our community are experiencing in ongoing difficulties during these stressful economic times.  They are currently being supported by several organizations in the region and our community shelters are working hard to assist these families; however, their resources are stretched to the limit.  Mary’s Place, for example, is so overcrowded that they need to put families up in motels. Anselma House, despite its newly opened facility and additional beds, is already filled to its 48 bed capacity.

We can help make a difference! Your child’s class has decided to help fill a box to send to our local shelters. The boxes will be filled with NEW items that will help the families that these shelters support. We have included a list (found on the back of this letter) of NEW items that the Shelters are requesting. Please send in your donations by DECEMBER 4, 2015.
