We are on the TRAIL – teamwork, respect, academics, independence, leadership!

To add to our extra-curricular list of activities we are pleased to share details about two more opportunities offered to students by our staff.

Science Club – run by Mr. Davies, Mr. Climenhage, Mr. Mendes; open to students in grades 5-6; runs Day 5, 2nd Nutrition Break from November to June

L.I.A. or Leaders In Action – run by Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Bradley and Mme Desjardins; open to students in Grades 4-6; meeting on a needs basis from December to June; the purpose is to allow WTT Trailblazers to give back to our community; first initiative is to support Mrs. Teutsch’s grade 4 class with collecting donations for the food bank.

Save the Date: Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. is School Councils’ February Community Fun Fest! Check it out on Facebook and follow @WTTCouncil to find out more.

We are collecting new donations for area shelters through our Giving Back campaign until the end of the week.

Non-perishable food items are also being accepted for the Food Bank and Ray of Hope. We recognize that peanut butter is a staple at the food bank and will be accepting donations of peanut butter (still sealed and placed in a bag) at the office; the remainder of food bank items can be taken to classrooms or placed under the tree in the foyer. Thanks to all who are able to contribute but most especially to those who allow us to help out.  We love the student leadership from L.I.A. and P5!

Many thanks go out to the increasing numbers of parents and students who are crossing at the crosswalk! Your respect and leadership are greatly appreciated!

Did you know? We monitor late arrivals and absences carefully and follow a process that begins with talking to students and parents to encourage our TRAILBLAZERS to be at school on time and every day!
