This is another incredible extra-curricular opportunity for our students! Interested students can get a permission form from their classroom teacher.

What: The WHL is an ice hockey program that is offered for any boy or girl in W.T. Townshend Public School from Grade JK to Grade 6.

When: Friday  mornings, 7:00- 8:00 a.m., Dec.. 4, 11,  18,  Jan. 8, 15, 22, Feb. 5, 12, 19, 26, Mar. 4, 11

Where: Activa Arena, 135 Lennox Lewis Way, Kitchener

Why: For fun and fitness.

Who: The WHL also needs parents/ guardians to help “Coach” on the ice. A helmet is mandatory please.

Equipment: WHL players need to have a minimum of a CSA approved hockey helmet, face mask, neck guard, gloves, skates and stick. Full equipment is recommended  but is not required. There is a large supply of extra skates, and some equipment, if you need something please contact the WHL Convenor and we can check in the “WHL cupboard”.
