FridIMG_1968ay, December 18 is our second Move-a-thon with Professor Jamz! No pledges – our community has already been extremely generous with donations to the food drive and Giving Back. However, back by popular demand, the Cosmic Store will be open for business.  Items range in price from $1 for a snap bracelet to $4.00 for a headband or noodle head. Thanks to Mrs. Riedl and Ms Lovell for modelling the products!

Extracurricular Update  We welcome a Sewing Club to the mix – run by Mme Billiau and Mme Tole, for grade 4 students; day 2 2nd NB; 4-6 weeks beginning in January; learning about planning, cutting and stitching while creating a felt heart (a really cute one)

Hour of Code – We are pleased that half of our classes embraced the Hour of Code and all students involved (Grade 1 to Grade 6) were highly engaged and demonstrated fantastic #independence while learning to code.  Parents, if you hear “I’m bored!” over the break this would be a great activity! hourofcode.com
