The learning of our WTT TRAILBLAZERS is greatly enhanced by exciting off-campus trips that are engaging for students and support and extend classroom experiences. We greatly appreciate the extra work done by staff to book trips and buses and parent support, both financially to supervise students.  

To allow families to plan ahead, we are providing a general overview of the trips that have been planned for the rest of the year.

We make every effort to keep costs down while still offering great experiences for our students; for example, the school covers the cost of track and field and Kodaly buses, a $500 WEFI grant was applied to reduce trip costs, trips to outdoor education centres have no costs for parents, students are asked to pack lunches and we look for venues with reasonable rates. We want all of our students to be able to attend and ask you to contact Mrs. Brown if you need to make financial arrangements.  Paying in installments is welcome.

We encourage our TRAILBLAZERS to contribute towards the cost of their trips – perhaps with allowance or birthday money or doing work “in kind” at home.

Permission forms and payment requests will follow in School Day closer to the date of the individual trips.
