June 9 – Whole School Drone Photo by Pegasus
On June 9, 2016 at 10:10 a.m. our photography company, Pegasus, will be photographing our entire school population at the front of our beautiful facility. A drone will take a camera up to capture the photo and videos. How cool is that?
Parents on school council have asked if we can sell the photos as they are interested in purchasing one for a keepsake. Pegasus is willing to print copies which will have a neat border with our school name, the year and TRAIL! This is completely optional of course but we wanted to make the offer to everyone in case others are interested.
The cost of each print will be $10.00. Prints can be ordered on School Day through Products or, if necessary, upon request an order form can be sent home. The photos will be ready before the end of the school year. The final deadline to order is Friday, June 10 at 3:00 p.m. – no late orders will be accepted as this would delay delivery.
Interested in Gardening as a Volunteer position?
The two garden beds at the front entrance of our school seem to need ongoing attention to keep looking nice. We are looking for a volunteer who could give them some care and attention on an ongoing basis. If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Givlin.

The staff and students would like to thank the many parents and volunteers who have given their time to help out at W.T. Townshend. Perhaps you helped in one of our classrooms, in the library, on School Council, on field trips in the Strong Start program or in another area of our school during the year. We would like to say thank you by inviting you to our “Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast” in the library on Monday, June 13th, 2016 at 8:00 am. Please join us.
We are pleased to provide babysitting so that you may enjoy adult time at the breakfast with staff and volunteers.
