Volunteers Needed

Would you like to be a trained Strong Start Volunteer and help a child develop literacy skills through games and activities?

If you answered “Yes”, the time to sign up is now! You can be trained at any of the upcoming training sessions so that you can volunteer in our Spring Letter, Sounds and Words program. Check the link below for Part 1 and Part 2 training sessions at a school near you!

We ask our volunteers to commit to at least a half hour, once a week for a full 10 weeks in order to deliver the program in its entirety.  Of course, if you have the time and availability we are thrilled when volunteers can offer a commitment of more time so that more children can benefit from the program.
